Hampshire Lakes Volunteer Driver Scheme (HLVDS)

If your destination is not on the list don’t worry we can still assist you.
For those residents who do not have their own transport, requests for assistance to attend medical, dentist and optician appointments should be made to the
HLVDS Co-ordinator Emrys Parry on extn 4596 or 07768 444336.
Anyone having difficulty or unable to telephone the coordinators should make contact with Tracey Gill on Ext 750.
Each visit will be charged at 50p per mile.

Residents requiring the assistance of the VDS; please note the driver is not responsible for putting the walker in/out of the car boot, if you are not able to do it yourself you may need a ‘carer’ to travel with you.
The Volunteer Driver Scheme is linked to the Group Neighbourhood Network (GNN), replacing the scheme which was suspended during Covid.
