The MOTOmed is located in the Wellness Centre gym, the Wellness team are taking bookings to use the device and to show everyone how the device works. To learn and use the MOTOmed ring the Wellness Team on extn: 590 or 01252 864590.

The device was sponsored by SSAFA, and in return the village collected £500.00 at the Big Brew event.

We are hoping to do another fund raiser so that we can purchase the Upgrade unit which would also provide the arm and upper body accessory.

The MOTOmed is specially designed to help with a number of aliments, for example:

Spastic paralysis or neuromuscular disorders with major loss of leg (limb) mobility
(e.g. stroke, multiple sclerosis, paraplegia, post-polio syndrome.

Parkinson’s, craniocerebral trauma, cerebral palsy, cerebral palsy, spina bifida

Orthopaedic complaints such as rheumatism, arthritis, knee/hip replacement, condition after capsule ligament injuries – Cardiovascular and metabolic diseases

Supplementation of the therapeutic measures, for example in dialysis patients, chronic obstructive bronchitis and patients with very low general performance ability.

Circulatory disorders of the legs and organs
